Make Money Online With Userpeek

Userpeek, as mentioned above, is a user testing site that will pay you to find bugs, errors, and other inconsistencies in a website or mobile app. But at the time of writing this review, Userpeek’s user testing aspect is still under development and doesn’t have an exact launch date. So don’t expect to win instantly.

The earning opportunity

Testing projects

The only way to make money with Userpeek at the time of this writing is through the pilot projects it offers.
This type of opportunity works pretty much like other user testing sites. But if this is your first time coming across a user testing site, let me walk you through how the process works.

After becoming a member of Userpeek, you will be able to log in to the members dashboard to see all the available projects you can work on. You will also be notified by e-mail if there are experimental projects available to you.

All you have to do is select the project you want to work on and click on it to see the details. If the project requires you to test a website, you will need to perform the test on a laptop or desktop computer. If so, make sure you have the Userpeek Chrome browser extension installed.

This also means that you must use Google Chrome when testing. A browser extension is required to record your screen, so you need to install it before anything else.

The important thing to keep in mind when testing websites and apps is that you need to explain what you’re doing. It means you have to be good at expressing your thoughts. That also means you’ll need a microphone to record what you say as well as a quiet room to work in so your voice can be heard clearly.

Each test project will have a set of guidelines that you must follow and a set of deliverables that you must submit. After completing the test, you must submit the captured video along with other deliverables to Userpeek.

They will then need to review your work (which can often take several days to complete). Once everything is fine and they have approved your submission, you will receive the promised compensation which will be shown in the project details.

How do you get paid?

Every time you complete a test project and get approved by Userpeek, you will receive a remuneration. Now the question is, how will you get paid? You will be paid via PayPal.

How much money can you earn?

The site claims you can earn US$10 in 15-20 minutes of approved website test videos. In my experience, that’s a decent percentage because 20 minutes isn’t that long.

But there are other user testing sites that offer higher rewards, so Userpeek’s earning potential will depend on how many testing opportunities are available. If there is a steady source of earning opportunities, I can say that Userpeek’s earning potential will be quite good.

But if it’s like other user testing sites where there aren’t many earning opportunities, the earning potential will be considerably low.

Can we use it on mobile?

As explained above, you will have the ability to test mobile apps using the Userpeek mobile app which will be available for Android and iOS devices. But since it’s not out yet, I can’t say more.

Who can join Userpeek?

At the time of writing this review, Userpeek is still in the pre-registration phase. They say on their website that anyone can sign up as a tester no matter where they live.

You just need to be at least 18 years old and have a PayPal account to sign up. If you want to be a tester, all you have to do is fill out the registration form first, and when Userpeek fully launches your beta, you will be notified via email so you can sign up. Sign up as a tester.
